Rule of the Octave in Minor Keys

We use the same figures in minor keys. However, the ascending RO features the raised 6 and 7 scale degrees. The descending rule of the octave features an augmented 6th on scale degree 6.

Descending RO in 4 voices in A minor

The number of actual notes being played by the right hand varies due to doubled unisons or if we want to achieve more complete sonorities (this is evident in publications by many teachers and theorists of the period).
